Dear brothers and forum members:
We are bombarded by an evil river that is difficult to discern, since the masks of goodness, and the appearances of piety and religiosity, come in multiple forms, with the most different variations on the scale of colors and deceptions.
What we are experiencing is not understandable without the counsel of God, without the ministry of the Word of God on earth, which resides in the few servants in whom is the mark of Christ and the Written Word. These suffer the virulent attack of the heavy artillery of the kingdom of darkness, which will make fruitless the attempt to enter the kingdom of God for the lukewarm, the credulous, those who please themselves, and those who listen to the sirens of "freedom" of humanism in its different trenches... communism, feminism, ecumenism, the appearance of religiosity, and... the open and shameless attack on all morality and divine principle.
Now we go to the gospel of "Saint John", this pimp, of whom there are MANY in Christian forums and churches, who with their flattery and appearance of piety, are merciless wolves, who cannot get enough of innocent blood, who They are artists in presenting this type of arguments, which are a cantifla reasoning, stripped of all good sense and sanity, let's read:
That human nature is basically good, that people can find answers to their problems within themselves, that The key to understanding and correcting the attitudes and actions of an individual lies somewhere in their past, that others are to blame for our problems, and so on we could mention many other things... UFFFFF!!!
In many Christian circles the vocabulary has even undergone transcendental changes. Sin is called disease ; repentance has been replaced by therapies; Habitual sins are called addictions, or compulsive behaviors, for which the individual does not seem to be responsible .
Perhaps the most palpable example of this distortion is the emphasis we see today on the importance of self-esteem and self-love for the fulfillment and happiness of the individual. Although this is a very popular topic today, it actually has a recent origin. It only emerged outside the Church about 50 years ago, and for about 30 years now, it has been forcefully introduced into it, adapting it in such a way that it seems like a biblical doctrine, based on biblical texts .
One of the promoters of this teaching says the following:
Our ability to love God and love our neighbors is limited by our ability to love ourselves. We cannot love God more than we love our neighbors and we cannot love our neighbors more than we love ourselves.
A Christian psychologist wrote:
Without love for ourselves there can be no love for others. YOU cannot love your neighbor, you cannot love God, unless you first love yourself.
This statement has made fools of a large number of people who we thought were wise...
This seems to be an echo of the words of the Lord Jesus Christ to the interpreter of the law, when he asked him:
What is the great commandment in the law?" Jesus answered him: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is similar: You will love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.
(Matthew 22:37-40)
Is Christ commanding his people in this passage to love themselves, as some "Christian" psychologists suggest? ...
If so, there would not be two commandments on which the entire law and the prophets depend, but three: Love yourself, love God and love your neighbor. And of these three, which would be the most important? Obviously, loving yourself, HE HE HE... because the other two would supposedly depend on that... UFFFFF!!!
But is that the teaching of that text? ...
Of course not!
The most important commandment of the law is not that we love ourselves, but that we love God and our neighbors. The Lord is rather presupposing that we love ourselves (even those who commit suicide do so because they think they will be better off dead than alive), and now he tells us: With that same dedication, with that same fervor, love your neighbor.
that is our salvation, and not loving ourselves
Self-love is spoken of in Scripture as a work of the flesh, not as a virtue.
In 2 Timothy 3:1-5 Paul warns Timothy:
You must also know this: that in the last days dangerous times will come. For there will be men who are lovers of themselves .
... Are you understanding???
That is why Christ's call to men is to deny themselves and take up their cross .
Any message that teaches otherwise cannot be true, much less helpful... IT IS SATANIC . The misfortune of human beings lies precisely in the fact of estimating themselves too much and continually looking inside themselves.
So pay attention to your steps, and wake up!!!
